My jewelry broke, can I return it to get fixed?

 

Venus Visuals is happy to fix any broken jewelry. When pieces are handmade and delicate, we understand that these things happen. You are only responsible for the shipping fee, and the jewelry will be repaired and shipped back to you at no additional cost. As lovers of beautiful things, we would like to remind you to take care of and be gentle with your jewels to ensure the upmost longevity.

What is this jewelry made of and will I be allergic to it?

 

Most of our jewelry is made from brass, bronze, wood, steel, and recycled aluminum (Go Green!). Some pieces are handpainted and many pieces are plated or filled with 14ktgold or silver. These metals are non toxic, lead/nickel-free and hypo-allergenic for most people. If  you have extreme allergies and can only wear solid gold it is best not to wear our jewelry. Jewelers rules: avoid wearing your jewelry in the shower, when sleeping and when exercising. Depending on your body's chemical makeup, brass jewelry may either brighten or acquire a darker color with repeated wear. While we love this looks, we understand that you may not. To restore to a shiny luster, use a commercial brass cleaner, which is available at many hardware stores. There are also some old fashion home remedies  you can use such as scrubbing with toothpaste and an old toothbrush. Make sure that upon rinsing your brass with water, you  completely dry the piece to avoid any moisture that may tarnish the metal all over again.

Does Venus Visuals do custom requests?
